Communication 101

The lessons we have discussed in class are really fun-filled because the way you presented it made us get something from it and made us enjoy it at the same time. It wasn't as tedious as I've expected the first few days of college to be.

The lesson that I wouldn't think of forgetting ever in my life would be that of the consequences experienced by the people who have either received or sent wrong information or interpretation of one topic through communication.

The trouble made for standing up in what one has said takes mountful of courage and dignity. One must rectify whatever wrong it has produced to prevent misleading of ideologies.

I've also understood the relevance of every tools used in communication as well as their corresponding Pro's and Con's.

Reliance to media can somewhat cause good and bad effects to us...the people. Gaining knowledge and new useful information cannot always be a good thing. There have been certain instances wherein we forget to distinguish factual from illusiory or fraud. We cannot just be there to listen or watch what the media provides us but we alsohave to be careful in taking in what's reinventive and what's liable.

The certain impact it gives to the people can be distinct from one another in more ways than one. As responsible "media worshippers" we must always know that the only thing constant in this world is "change". Therefore, being rational or critical is needed to be possessed before one can come up with the intention of believing every single word sent by the media.

Some of the topics we've tackled really gave me certain ideas in what I envision my future in the media world to be like. I cannot think of any reason to say I'd be better or do better but I can think of certain reasons to say I'd make a difference. Maybe I'm not the best, maybe I'm not going to be too known, but I think I can give a little more life in terms of serving the people with what I opt to know in the four years that I would be taking this subject.

I can only think of one last statement to share with you so as not to impress but to express...

as a Communication Arts student I'd sweat the battle before the battle sweats me.
